About Us
Founded in 1997, The Green Center is a natural oasis in the heart of the St. Louis metropolitan region. Located in a corner of Kaufman Park in University City, TGC is headquartered in a beautiful and welcoming home built in 1932. We provide science- and art-based programming for kids and restoration land management for adjoining Kaufman Woods and nearby Ruth Park Woods and Urban Bird Corridor. TGC also holds an annual Native Plant Sale in the spring and Fall Fire Festival.
