Create community while gaining and/or honing artistic skills with the Artists of The Green Center! Select Sunday afternoons in 2026, TGC will open its doors for crafters, artists, and makers to make and inspire together. Each month will feature a different medium and someone skilled in the medium available to offer tips, tricks, and guidance. And, as an added bonus, each CrAfternoon is completely flexible! Work on whatever you want and arrive whenever you want (as long as it's between 12 & 4PM). The $5 fee covers materials & supplies.

Bring some of your own favorite tools or just arrive and use what we have available. We'll have have a "help yourself" beverage bar so that you can wet your whistle while you work.

Hand Embroidery
1-4pm

Join master fabric artist Linda Sachs as she shares some tips and tricks for an introduction to hand embroidery! already an embroidery expert? Bring a current project and meet some new-to-you crafters and enjoy an afternoon in our beautiful Green family home.

Hand embroidery is a versatile craft that uses a needle and thread to create decorative designs on fabric. It can range from simple stitches to complex, textured images. It's a wonderful way to add personal touches to textiles and is very relaxing. Everyone will be provided with materials to try out, or you can bring your own project.

Plus our CrAfternoons are totally flexible! Not only can you work on whatever you want, but you can also arrive any time between 1 & 4pm! We'll just be crafting so join in whenever!

We'll have a small, open beverage bar including lemonade, tea, and wine - all included in your ticket price.
