Volunteer Programs
We Take Volunteers Seriously!
At the Green Center, volunteers are highly appreciated and recognized for their efforts. We take your interests and time constraints very seriously. Many volunteers contribute their skills and time because they support the mission of the organization, others just because they enjoy their volunteer activities. The Center's outdoor spaces are often an inspiration for artists, photographers, gardeners, birders and people who are looking for a tranquil experience. We encourage families, individuals and school groups to get involved in our outdoor activities. We offer one-time as well as on-going volunteer opportunities.
We respect your time and interests!
Each year we have managed to expand our programs. We can only do this with the good help and dedication of our volunteers. Over fifty percent of the Green Center's operations are managed by them. There are many volunteer opportunities to choose from. Whether you enjoy outdoor or indoor activities, working independently or with others, there is a place for you with the Green Center’s Volunteer Team.
Please review our Volunteer Opportunities and fill out the volunteer application that will let us know how we can get you started.
Join Our Volunteer Leadership Training Clinic!
The Volunteer Leadership Training Clinic for 2008-2009 was a success. Thank you to all of the instructors who generously donated their time to assist and teach interested participants. I would also like to thank our participants for spending some of their Saturdays with us, and for eagerly becoming involved all the while supporting The Green Center.

The Green Center hopes to offer a new series of training clinics this year. Our goal is to line up workshops complimentary to conservation and ecological sciences that differ from the workshops we've already presented.
