Calvary Cemetery Prairie
The Green Center is part of a collaborative of organizations working to restore the last known native tallgrass prairie in St. Louis. The 25-acre prairie remnant is located within Calvary Cemetery (5239 West Florissant Avenue, Saint Louis).
Calvary Cemetery is open to the public between 8 am and 5 pm daily.
If you're visiting the prairie for the first time, stop by the Cemetery Office (8:30-4:30 M-F, 8:30-12:30 Sat), pick up a Historical Tour map, and follow the directions. The Prairie is located near Section 34.
